Egypt is safe for kiters during the Israel/Palestina war?
A few of my kiters contacted me in the last weeks to check the mood & vibe in Egypt during these complicated war times in the middle east. So here a quick update on the situation:
While Egypt is directly on the border with Israel, Hurghada (where our kite safari starts) and El Gouna (where I live most of the year) are thousands of kilometers away from the war. If we had no internet, we would know nothing about it: life goes on as usual here.
I have been living in Egypt for over 10 years, with frequent travels abroad back to Europe (my family lives in Milan) and I would be the first to leave with my dog if I would feel there is even a small chance of problems. But I feel right now I’m in the right place.
If you want to have any kind of update, feel free to text me / call me at +201009410388 and hope to see you soon on board!
I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at info@sickdogsurf.com
Hope to see you on board one of these days!
