Secret Spot Geisum Island
Hidden behind Geisum Island, there is a secret beach (honestly not that secret) that is perfect for hosting one boat. Most of the times it’s obviously busy, but if we are lucky enough and we are quick enough, we can sometimes get in and spend a few days in this little corner of paradise.
THE WIND IN SECRET GEISUM
Off-shore, as usual. Nothing more to say about it.
FOR WHAT LEVEL OF KITEBOARDING IS SECRET GEISUM OK?
Every level is fine. There is plenty of space for a 4/5 beginners and intermediate and advanced will also enjoy the spot.
AFTER KITING
We never go to secret spot after dark: it is just too far away from the boat, and the beach is not the nicest.
MORE ABOUT SECRET SPOT GEISUM
We constantly clean the spot, and I have a vision — one day this spot will be spotless and really pretty. In the meanwhile, I invite all kite safari people to clean Secret spot when they go and visit it!
Check the video below — in summary, Secret Spot Geisum it’s not the largest of the kite spots, but with the right tide it’s beautiful. Plenty of space for 20 kiters, and for a few students. The wind is as usual off-shore, all you have to do is being careful of the reefs on both sides of the spot. That’s it!
I love kitesurfing, travelling, and making short walks with my dog. I organize kite cruises in Egypt since 2014, you may find me in some windy beach pretty much all year round when I’m not on the boat, may it be Egypt, Cape Verde, Mauritius or Greece. I drink red wine and play (badly) the guitar. You can contact me at +201009410388 (whatsapp or calls) or just email me at info@sickdogsurf.com
Hope to see you on board one of these days!
