KITESURFING CRUISE IN EGYPT – END OF SUMMER

1000€ for 8 Days on our Luxury Motor Yacht

    30th September – 7th October 2023

THIS WEEK DOESN’T WORK FOR YOU? Check our Kite Safari weeks, to see all our scheduled kite safaris for this year!

While the summer is ending in Europe, this is till a great time for a kitesurfing cruise in Egypt – here the season lasts till the end of November, and normally September and October are blessed with steady good winds and still warm waters.

The plan is simple: it is a kitesurfing adventure cruise: a lot of kitesurfing during the day, and chilled nights on our yacht, where we will sleep, eat and relax after a long kitesurfing day. It’s like a moving hotel, right next to the kite spots: we will chose the best spots in the Red Sea to kite every day (according to the wind forecast of course): lagoons, sand banks and small islands are ready to host our kitesurfing progression.

SEPTEMBER THE BEST MONTH TO KITE IN EGYPT?

September is right at the end of the Summer, and right before school: this week we organize a kitesurfing cruise, that we call Kite Safari – the idea is that we change kite spots as the week progresses, with our yacht that serves us as a moving hotel. We navigate the Red Sea in style, sleeping and chilling, eating and partying on our luxury yacht.

It’s a kitesurfing adventure: this means a lot of kiting. We guarantee progressions if you don’t quit and if it’s windy. 8 days/7 Nights all inclusive trips, this means food, drinks, accommodation & transfers: all you have to do is arrive at Hurghada airport, and we will take care of it from there.

We run kite safari all year round, we start in April and we finish when it starts getting a bit too cold in November. Summer is the perfect time to kite in Egypt: no wetsuit needed, warm water, but not crazy hot, since we are blessed with dry climate and steady wind making our boat life a chilled one.

FOR WHO IS THIS TRIP?

This kite trip is good for any kiting level: full beginners will be trained free of charge, while intermediate and advanced will have a lot of time to progress and learn the first jumps or advanced manoevres.

On the first day, the 30th of September, you will arrive on the boat and we will have our first night in the marina, ready for departure in the early of the 1st of October.

OUR YACHT

For this kite safari, our yacht is Queen Sherry. Queen Sherry is one of our favorite boats in the Red Sea: it comes with its own crew and can host 24 kiters and 2 kite guides (but typically 22 kiters and 4 from Sick Dog Team).

The boat has a main deck to prepare our kite gear, a sun deck to chill and a solarium. There is an indoor restaurant and 11 cabins with separate beds and a master suite. All Cabins have air-condition and private toilet and shower.

KITE CRUISE: THE PLAN DAY BY DAY

30th September – On the very first day, you will arrive in Hurghada International Airport and with our minibus and taxi we will go to the boat to meet the remaining of the kiters and the rest of the team. You will get your bed in the cabin and have dinner on the boat. We will sleep on the boat the first night.

1st October – 6th October – It’s a kite safari: we will go spot to spot, visiting Geisum, Ashrafi, Tawila (if open) and Abu Mungar (if the conditions are right). It’s a lot of kitesurfing.

7th October – Time to say goodbye! The boat officially closes its door at midday, so we will plan your day according to your flight: an early flight means that you will go directly to the airport from the boat, a late flight means a last day chilling at our favorite beach club before going to the airport! And hope to see you next time!

KEEP IN MIND: The exact route of our week will strongly depend on the wind condition of that specific week. In case of low wind, we will have, included in the cost of the cruise, a wide range of no wind activities, like wakeboarding, snorkeling, stand up paddles and wing foiling lessons.  Of course we expect good wind, and at sea is always more windy than at land, and we will try to visit as many kite spots as possible.
