   16th-23rd March 2024

Proud to introduce a new kite clinic that we planned for this year – Jeremy Burlando will be on board for an event that will start our kite safari season this 2024. This rider is a powerhouse – one of the best kitesurfer in the world, he has been pushing in the last few years the limit of kitesurfing. He needs no introduction, check youtube and find out what he does (and how he does it).

He will be available for Private Training during this kite cruise, it’s a unique opportunity for the intermediate/advanced rider that wants to progress to the next level. And if you don’t need a prorider, the Sick Dog Team will be on board to make sure that you improve as well, with lessons, tips and supervision. Cause all kiters deserve to improve, and this is the goal of this Kite Cruise.

KITE CLINICS – THE PROGRAM

SATURDAY: You will arrive on the boat, depending on your flight or on your check-out time, on Saturday – Our driver will be at the airport to pick you up and bring you to the boat. The boat is available for checking in from midday. There you will meet the rest of the kiters, Jeremy and the team of Sick Dog. Dinner will be on board – we are ready to depart the morning after.

SUNDAY: In the early morning the boat will leave the marina and head up to the first spot of the week, for a warm up sessions. The first day is important to get to know the team, the spot, and how is life on a boat. We will start lessons the first day, with a late morning session and an afternoon session.

MONDAY: We will be kiting all day, with of course a break for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The boat is available at any time if you need a small (or long break) from kitesurfing. We will start to go more in details on what each kiters needs.

TUESDAY: We will move to the second spot of the week, Ashrafi – a huge lagoon with flat water. Lessons and training will continue.

WEDNESDAY: All day riding in Ashrafi.

THURSDAY: Today is downwinder day day, direction Geisum – We will start at 6:30am and will spend the rest of the time kiting in Geisum.

FRIDAY: Free Kiting Day in Geisum. During lunch, the boat will start to move back to the marina, and we will spend the last night on board at port. Optional, a night out in Hurghada or El Gouna for drinks and dinner.

SATURDAY: Depending on your needs, we will organize a transfer to you back to your hotel (if you decide to spend a bit more time in Egypt) or to the airport.

IMPORTANT: this plan and route strongly depends on our group and most importantly on the wind forecast for the week. We have planned no wind activities, like stand up paddle, wakeboard and snorkeling, but we do we expect good wind in the Red Sea.

Jeremy Burlando

Jeremy burlando kite

3rd Position in King Of The Air 2023. Should I say more? He was an up and coming kiter, and I remember seeing him riding in Egypt for the first time 10 years ago in our home spot in Magawish Hotel @ the Colona Watersport Center – now he is a force to be reckoned in the ultra-competitive kitesurfing professional tour. Based between Tenerife and Sicily, he now travels the world to compete and train. His speciality? He started, as many youngsters, with freestyle, he is now more dedicated to the big air manouvers.

He is a prorider sponsored by Slingshot, a good occasion on this trip to test some of his gear. Are you ready to go to the next level?
