A kitesurfing cruise in Egypt – 8 days/7 nights on our luxury motoryacht as a moving hotel, taking us to the best kitesurfing spots of the Red Sea – Sick Dog Surf and Kite Tribe will join forces to offer you an experience of a lifetime – we call it kite safari, the perfect kite adventure, a lot of kite and a comfortable and cozy home to relax, eat, chill, party and sleep that brings you to the best spot. This kite cruise will start from the Hurghada Marina, and the airport of arrival is Hurghada International Airport. This is an all inclusive trip: all you have to do is book your flights, and we will take care of you from the arrival till departure. And if October is not the best time for you to travel, check our Kite Cruise calendar to see what we have in mind and prepared for next year!
Our boat this week will be Queen Sherry. This yacht can host up to 22 kiters and 2 kite guides, with a main deck to prepare all your kite gear, a spacious upper deck with a bar, a solarium, a restaurant, and a chill zone with TV. All cabins can host 2 people and have separate beds, private toilet with shower and air-conditioning. This boat comes with a his own crew; a captain with his team of sailors, a chef, and of course our team from Sick Dog & Kite Tribe. This is a kitesurfing adventure, it means a lot of kitesurfing.
DAY 1 – This is your arrival day: you will arrive at the airport and one of our team will meet you and with our taxi or minibus take you to the boat. On board you will go to your cabin and meet the rest of the team and all the guests that have already arrived. We will have our first dinner on the boat, and maybe explore the town of Hurghada if we have enough energy. We will be sleeping in the Marina.
DAY 2 – The yacht will depart as early as possible to head to the first kite spot of this trip: Tawila Island. This is probably the best place in the Red Sea to kite, a beautiful sandy lagoon with flat water, blessed with constant and stable wind – the perfect place to improve your skills, at any level. We will be kitesurfing before lunch and after lunch, and we will be sleeping in Tawila (on the boat obviously).
DAY 3 – We will be kiting all day, with an early morning session before breakfast at 6:30am, to finish at sunset. It is also possible to dive in most spots, so during this trip we will mix activities, depending on the wind forecast.
DAY 4 – We will be chilling in the early morning and head to a new spot during breakfast, Geisum island. We will be kiting and sleeping in Geisum.
DAY 5 – Another early start in Geisum, to kite here all day.
DAY 6 – Downwinder! Not the hardest of the downwinder, we will head from Geisum to Tawila in the early morning. It’s a 2h ride, so be prepared! Once arrived in Tawila, we will be kiting there all day long, and sleep again in Tawila.
DAY 7 – Time to head back to the marina, but not before a long session till 2pm! After kiting, we will head back to El Gouna and if we have enough energy, we will head to El Gouna for some drinks and dinner. Then we will be back on the boat for our last night on board.
DAY 8 – Time to say goodbye to the boat! We will take our bus and head to the airport or to a hotel of your choice, to continue your holidays.
