OUR YACHT
For our Kite Cruise we will be on board of New Regency – this motor yacht can host up to 22 kiters, the crew of the boat and the team of Sick Dog with Erica. All cabins are for two people (single rooms available at extra cost), with air-condition and a private toilet with shower. New Regency offers suites for couples and regular rooms for friends. There are 4 decks on board: 1 to prepare our kite gear, another to chill and party, a solarium and a restaurant.
THE ITINERARY
SATURDAY: Arrival
- Arrive at the boat and meet the Sick Dog Team and Erica. You will get in your cabin, and have dinner on board. We will sleep in the marina on board of New Regency
SUNDAY: Setting Sail
- Early morning departure from the marina, towards the first kite spot of the week, Geisum Marina.
- Warm-up kite session to assess riders’ skills – in the afternoon we will start training our kiters, according to their needs.
MONDAY: Full Day on the water
- Entire day kiting at Geisum Marina with breaks for lunch.
- We will aim for three kite sessions: before breakfast, after breakfast, and post-lunch till sunset.
TUESDAY: Fine-tuning Skills
- Early morning free ride session.
- Post-breakfast training sessions at all level.
- Additional kite sessions after lunch.
WEDNESDAY: Changing Scenery
- Early morning move to the second spot with our yacht, Ashrafi.
- We will focus on more kitesurf training and on downwinder skills upon arrival, preparing for Thursday’s downwinder.
- Regular training in the afternoon.
THURSDAY: Downwinder Day
- Downwinder day with an additional kite session at the Geisum South spot on arrival.
- Afternoon kite, as usual.
- Analyze the progress made throughout the week.
FRIDAY: Free kiting day
- Free day for kiting. But if anyone feels the need some extra lessons, the team is ready!
- The boat returns to the marina right after lunch.
- Evening excursion to El Gouna for dinner.
SATURDAY: Farewell
- Depending on your plans, we will organize you tranfer to the airport or to an hotel of your choice.
- Until next time!
NOTE: The plan is subject to change due to varying wind conditions. In case of inadequate wind, alternative activities like wakeboarding, stand-up paddleboarding, and snorkeling will be planned. The weekly route may also be adjusted based on wind conditions.Â
INCLUDED
- Transfers from airport to boat and back. If you want to spend some extra nights in El Gouna before or after the trip, let us know and we can help you with the whole organization
- Kitesurf lessons at all levels
- Accommodation in a double room with private toilet and shower
- Soft drinks, fruit and snacks.
- 3 meals per day
- Wakeboarding and Snorkeling and Stand Up paddle.
NOT INCLUDED
- Egyptian Visa (25$/€) to be paid at the airport
- Tips for the crew (normally you need to calculate an extra 60€ in total)
- Alcoholic beverages (can be purchased on board)
- Marine Park Fee – 50€
